Privacy policy
- A parent fills in our form. We use the details only to make that child's game.
- We never ask for a child's last name or photo. Pet photos only.
- The games have no ads, no tracking, no purchases, and they don't collect anything from your child.
- We delete the form details and pet photos after your game is delivered, and sooner if you ask.
Who we are
Made-for-Me Arcade makes personalized games for kids. You can reach us at hello@madeformearcade.com.
What we collect, and from whom
We only collect information from parents and legal guardians (18+), through our order form. We don't collect information directly from children, and our games don't ask children for anything.
- About you: your first name and email address.
- About your child: first name, how to pronounce it, age, hair color, skin tone for their cartoon, favorite color, and interests you choose to share.
- Pets and people you want included: pet names and descriptions, optional pet photos (any photo that includes a person or child is deleted without being used), and first names, ages and hair colors of siblings or friends.
- Anything else you type in the notes box.
How we use it
Only to design, build, deliver and update your child's game, and to email you about it. We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who helps us
A few services handle information on our behalf, only for the purposes above:
- Website hosting and forms (for example Netlify), which receive form submissions.
- AI tools (for example Claude by Anthropic) that we use to build the game and record the narrator's voice from the details you provide.
- Payments (for example Stripe), if you buy something after the free beta. We never see your full card number.
The game itself
Your child's game includes their first name, a cartoon version of them, and any pets or people you asked for. It's shared with you through a private, hard-to-guess link that isn't listed in search engines. The game has no ads, analytics, trackers, chat, links out or in-game purchases, and it doesn't send any information anywhere while your child plays. Settings like hair color are saved only on your device.
How long we keep things
We delete the form details and pet photos within 30 days of delivering your game. We keep your email address and the game itself so we can support you and make changes you request. Ask us any time and we'll delete everything, including the hosted game.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information you gave us, or to take your child's game down, by emailing hello@madeformearcade.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and, for meaningful changes, email families who've ordered.
